Policies

  • Deposit Policy:
    All reservations will have a deposit of one night’s room and tax charged 3 days in advance of the arrival date.
  • Cancellation Policy:
    If cancelled within 3 days of arrival, the deposit will be collected as the cancellation fee. In the event of a “no show” the entire amount of your reservation will be charged to the credit card on file. Special promotions and offers may have different cancellation policies.
  • Dog Friendly:
    Hotel Anthracite is a dog friendly property and does charge a one-time fee of $35. Restrictions may apply, please call property for further information.
  • Smoking Fee:
    For the safety and well-being of our guests and staff, our entire campus is smoke-free, including vaping or e-cigarettes. If there is evidence (odor, debris, etc.) of smoking in a room, a $250.00 Smoking Charge will be applied.

Rates and Fees

Room Rates vary depending upon type and date of stay. Reservations are subject to 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax and 7% Local Lodging tax which will be added to the reservation.

  • Amenity Fee:
    A $10 per night amenity fee plus 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax will be added to your reservation.
  • Cleaning Fee:
    At Settlers Hospitality, we’re investing in our team by launching programs that enable our staff to live and play in the community where we work. As part of that commitment your housekeeping service charges are included in your folio. Therefore, any additional gratuities while appreciated, are discretionary. Our per stay cleaning fee is $7.50 plus 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax and 7% Local Lodging Tax per Guestroom or Suite.
  • Settlers Cares Donation:
    A $1 charitable donation is added to each guest reservation to support our non-profit, Settlers Cares. The Settlers Cares Foundation was created to help employees or affiliates who are facing financial hardship due to unexpected life events. The goal is to provide short-term, emergency support to employees or eligible dependents.
  • Green Lodging Donation:
    A $2.00 donation automatically added to each reservation is contributed directly to the Conservancy to support its conservation mission and assure that all the special places, scenic beauty, and outdoor recreational opportunities that bring tourists to the Upper Delaware River region are protected now and every time they visit in the future.
